What you are seeing is a $20 Pre-authorization. The payment system is making sure the funds would be available if you were to use the entire available maximum charge. This Pre-authorization is an attempt by the payment system to confirm that your card is real and valid.
The transaction will settle for the amount shown on the TAP unit when you pressed the STOP button on the TAP unit screen after you washed your vehicle. This can take as many as 3 business days as transactions do not settle over the weekend.

If you did not lift the flap and press the STOP button on the TAP unit, you will be charged the maximum transaction amount of $20.
